At that time the sea which covered most of what is now the Iberian mountain range, withdrew, leaving beds of gypsum, minerals and red clay. Today, at a depth of 700 metres, we extract from them a salt that is low in sodium, rich in potassium, conserves important properties and is free of marine contaminants. The crystals are collected without applying refining processes, meaning that it conserves all the minerals of the ancient sea, and in particular, potassium.
